Science Credit for Waste Reduction Project Participation Science Credit - Green Star Coyotes Pilarcitos Alternative High Cabrillo Unified Science Credit for Waste Reduction Project ParticipationJanuary 12 2016 Students received one credit for science by participating in the classroom waste certification process. CO2e reduction was based on recycling and producing less garbage and solid waste. SummaryStudents performed a walk-through waste assessment. Students labeled and placed 6 indoor 12-gallon curbside recycling bins in the classrooms, 1 23-gallon slim jim container (blue) for collecting bottles and cans in the outside patio area, and implemented a worm composting bin on site in the office.
