Students did a classroom post waste assessment. 

Summary

After doing a classroom post waste assessment, it was determined that approximately 3 pounds of recyclables and 14 pounds of compostables were diverted from being landfilled per week. Additionnally, approximately 2 pounds of leftover fruits and vegetables per were being composted through the classroom worm bin.

Results: 160 lbs CO2e emmissions avoided

304 Pounds of Compostables Diverted from School Waste Stream between September 26th 2019 and March 13th 2020
Results: 2,936 lbs CO2e emmissions avoided
