Whole School Assembly and Recognition Ceremony

Summary

This school year, we had a whole school assembly to talk about the 4R's and how our school works hard to divert both recycling and organics from our waste stream. Our principal and Nicole from the the SMC Office of Sustanability came and rewarded us with a certificate and a trophy! We also played a recycling relay and the students who did our waste unit in 7th grade last year won by a landslide with no mistakes in their 3 bins during the sorting game! Our school has taken sustainability on and we are thrilled about it!
