Compost Club, Planeteers Club and WeCycle!

April 9 2020

Planeteers Club, Compost Club and WeCyclers Club are now a pivotal part of the WMS Green Team.  The students work hard collecting waste and diverting it from the landfill.

Summary

The Planeteers Club removed many pounds of waste from the landfill by sending certain items to TerraCycle.  We collected 60 lbs. of drink pouches, 90 lbs. of snack bags, 3 lbs. of energy bar wrappers, 6 lbs. of oral care products, 4 lbs. of air care products, 10 lbs. of contact lens packaging, and 40 lbs. of writing implements for TerraCycle this school year.

Metrics
